السلام عليكم ورحمة الله. Peace and mercy of God be upon you. أنا الصحفية إسراء الشريف، I'm the journalist Israa Sharif, أخت الصحفي الشهيد محمد الشريف the sister of the martyred journalist Mohammed Sharif. الذي استشهد على أرض مخيم جباليا أثناء اجتياحه في الخامس عشر من نوفمبر ٢٠٢٤ عن عمر يناهز ال٣١ عاماً. Mohammed was martyred at the age of 31 during the invasion of Jabalia Camp on November 15, 2024.

محمد، يعني، من بداية دراسته وبداية حياته، كان شغوفاً جدا بالمجال الصحفي. From the very beginning of his life and of his studies, Mohammed was very passionate about journalism. وكان يسعى دائما انه… كان يقتدي بيَ كثير، وكان يحاول انه ينتمي لهذا العالم. He really looked up to me, and he was always trying to become part of this world of journalism. وكان دائماً يسعى في نقابة الصحفيين وفي بيت الصحافة وينمّي مهاراته وخبراته في هذا المجال. He got involved with the Journalists Syndicate and the Press House, developing his skills and experience in the field. ولم يكتفي بذلك فقط. He didn't stop there. أيضاً كان يسعى دائما أنه يؤسس اله المجال الصحفي الخاص فيه. He was also always trying to find a journalistic niche of his own. هو صحيح لم... يعني، لم يحالفه الحظ في هذا العالم الصحفي، لكنه كان دائما، يعني، أنشأ موقعه الخاص It's true that he didn't have much luck in this field, but he created his own platform. وكان يسميه «الحنون». He called it Al-Hannoun. وينقل الأخبار العاجلة من خلاله وعبر المجموعات الإخبارية. He shared breaking news there and on various chats and channels.

كان يحلم دائما بأن يكون له مكانة في هذا العالم الصحفي. He always dreamed of finding his place as a journalist. كان يحلم دائما أن يكون له اسم ومكانته، وسعى كثيرا. He always dreamed of making a name and a place for himself and strived toward that goal. محمد دائما كان شغوفا بأن يكون له بصمة في المجال الإنساني وفي المجال الصحفي. Mohammed was passionate about leaving his mark in humanitarian work and journalism. كان دائما، يعني، يحاول دائما أن يتعامل ويكون نشيطا في المجالات الإنسانية والإغاثية He was always trying to be involved in relief and humanitarian efforts. ويقدّم ما يستطيع تقديمه، حتى ولو على حسابه وعلى... وعلى جهده الخاص لكي يساعد الناس، ويساعد الفقراء والأرامل والأيتام. He gave whatever he could, even at his own expense and through his own efforts, to help people, the poor, widows, and orphans. كمان كان يبحث دائما بأن يطور مهارات الشباب. He was always looking for ways to help young people develop their skills. يعني، حينما أُغلقت في وجهه الأبواب، والحياة كانت صعبة بسبب الحصار ووضع الحصار في غزة، When doors closed in his face and life became more difficult because of the siege on Gaza, هو سعى بأن يكون له… ان ينقل، يعني، مجاله وخبراته ويطوّر من مهارات الشباب في الجامعة. he tried to pass on his knowledge and experience and help students and youth develop their skills. وكان يبحث دائما في الملتقيات والمنتديات لطلبة الجامعات. He was always seeking out gatherings and forums for university students. وسعى دائما من خلال إمكانياته البسيطة بأن يكون له اسم في الجامعات والحملات الشبابية. He always sought, through his modest means, to make a name for himself in universities and youth initiatives. حتى، يعني، مثل ما قلت لكم، حتى لو على حسابه الشخصي. He would do this even if it was at his own expense. لم يكن يستفيد من هذا كله شيئا. He gained nothing from any of this. He only wanted to leave a mark — بصمة في مجال الريادة، a mark in entrepreneurship, بصمة في مجال الإعلام، a mark in media, بصمة في مجال العمل الإنساني والإغاثي. a mark in humanitarian and relief work.

كان محمد، يعني، أما في مجال العائلة In terms of his personal life, فقد عشق زوجته، وأنجب منها ثلاثة أطفال، بنتين وولد. Mohammed adored his wife and they had three children together, two girls and a boy. وكان حنونا جدا، حنونا وأب مثالي. He was loving, very loving, and an ideal father. كان محمد بسيطا جدا، ويحب أن يضفي... أن يضفي بروحه الجميلة وروحه الحلوة الفكاهة في كل مكان يذهب إليه. Mohammed was a modest man who loved to spread his beautiful spirit and sweet humor wherever he went. صحيح كانت الحياة صعبة عنده. It's true that life was difficult for him. وصحيح انه كانت الظروف الي كان يعيشها الشباب في قطاع غزة كانت صعبة جدا. It's also true that the conditions young people in Gaza were living through were extremely difficult. لكنه دائما كان مبتسما. But he was always smiling. دائما كان عنده أمل، وكان دائما ينشر أمله، الأمل والتفاؤل، في جميع من حوله He always had hope, and he would always spread that hope and optimism to everyone around him, في العائلة، وفي عمله، وفي نشاطاته وتطوعاته. whether it was at home, at work, or while volunteering. كان متطوعا في كثير من المؤسسات. He volunteered for many organizations. كان دائما، يعني، مطيعا لوالديه ومحبا لأسرته He was always dutiful to his parents and loving to his family. ويلبّي جميع العلاقات الاجتماعية؛ لم يقصّر أبدا بأحد. He valued his relationships, was always there for people, and never let anyone down. حتى في عز الحرب وظروف الحرب، Even in the midst of war and the difficulty it brought, كان دائما، يعني، يحاول أن يكون بلسما لعائلته، ويخفف عنهم ويحميهم he always tried to be a source of comfort for his family, to ease things for them and protect them. حينما تم اجتياح المخيم وزاد القصف العشوائي في كل مكان، When the camp was invaded and indiscriminate bombardment intensified everywhere, يعني، كان دائما يحاول أن يحمي عائلته ويوفّر لهم الطعام. he tried to protect his family and provide them with food. ورغم ذلك كان يبث في بعض الأوقات بأن And despite all this, he would still try, whenever he could, يمارس عمله الصحفي، ويستمر في نقل الأخبار عبر موقعه وعبر المجموعات الإخبارية والأخبار العاجلة، to continue his journalistic work and report the news, including breaking news, through his platform and other channels, خاصة انه في المخيم، ولم يغادر المخيم، especially because he was in the camp and never left it. وظل صامدا فيه هو وعائلته. He and his family remained steadfast in the camp.

استشهد محمد وهو خارج ليجمع بعض الطعام لعائلته. Mohammed was martyred while he was out trying to find some food for his family. استشهد بجوار مستشفى كمال عدوان، He was martyred next to Kamal Adwan Hospital. يعني، على بُعد أمتار اصطادته طائرات الكوادكوبتر واغتالته وهو قريب من المستشفى. A quadcopter drone targeted and assassinated him a few meters from the hospital. كان يحاول أن، يعني، لو كان هناك مكانا آمنا، لأسعفه الناس. Had it been a safe place, people would have been able to reach him and help him. ولكن بسبب كثافة الرصاص وكثافة القذائف، لم يستطع أحد إسعافه But because of the heavy gunfire and airstrikes, no one was able to rescue him, رغم أنه على بُعد أمتار قليلة من مستشفى كمال عدوان. even though he was only a few meters away from Kamal Adwan Hospital. دُفن محمد، بسبب الظروف الصعبة والظروف الأمنية، Mohammed was buried, because of the difficult circumstances and the security situation, دفن في ساحة مستشفى كمال عدوان، في الخامس عشر من نوفمبر ٢٠٢٤. in the courtyard of the Kamal Adwan Hospital on November 15, 2024.

كان يحلم بأن يكون اسما ومشهورا. He had dreamed of making a name for himself and being known. لكنه في هذه الليلة اسمه وصورته انتشرت في جميع مجال… وسائل الإعلام، That night, his name and photo spread across the media, وأصبح اسمه يتردد في كل المجموعات الإخبارية لينقلوا خبر استشهاده، and his name echoed through every news group sharing the news of his martyrdom. استشهاد الصحفي، رحمة الله عليه. The martyrdom of a journalist, may God have mercy on him. ترك خلفه زوجته الأرملة وثلاثة أبناء يكابدون في هذه الحياة. He left behind his wife, now a widow, and three children struggling through this life.

محمد الآن قد رحل، وعائلته الآن ما زالت صامدة في غزة Mohammed is gone now, and his family remains steadfast in Gaza. ولا تستطيع مغادرة غزة لكي لا تبعد عن قبر محمد، His family cannot leave Gaza because they do not want to be far from Mohammed's grave. لكي يكونوا قريبين قدر المستطاع. They want to be as close to him as possible. ونأمل أن لا يغادروا غزة، وأن يحافظوا على وصيته We hope that they will not leave Gaza and that they will honor his wishes. لأنه كان دائما يحاول أن يشجع ويدعم صمود الناس في غزة وفي شمال غزة He always tried to encourage and support the steadfastness of people in Gaza, especially in the North لأنها إذا رحلت، فيعني رحل الجميع. because if Gaza is lost, then everyone is lost.

وفعلا، الظروف الآن في أسوأ وضع. And it's true. The situation now is the worst it has ever been. ونتمنى أن يصبّرهم ويعينهم We pray that God grants them patience and gives them strength. وأن يبقى اسم محمد عاليا في هذا المجال. I pray that Mohammed's name continues to be honored in this field. وسأبقى أروي قصته وكفاحه ومحاولاته رغم قلة الإمكانيات. I will continue to tell the story of his struggle and all his efforts, despite the limited resources he had. كان محمد في أشد الظروف الصعبة يبحث عن مكان يجد فيه انترنت أو يجد فيه اتصالا لكي ينشر الأخبار Even in the most difficult circumstances, Mohammed would search for somewhere with internet access or phone signal. بعد أن يسير بآلاف الكيلومترات أو... بالكيلومترات، لحتى يحاول الوصول إلى مكان يوجد فيه شبكة، حتى ينشر الأخبار ويواصل عمله الصحفي. He would walk for kilometers, trying to find a connection so he could report the news and continue his work as a journalist.

رحمة الله عليه ورحمة الله على جميع شهداء هذا المجال. May God have mercy on him and all the journalists who were martyred. وسنبقى مستمرين في التغطية. And we will continue the coverage. وسنبقى مستمرين في نقل الأخبار ونقل الأحداث We will continue reporting the news حتى لا يغيب عن العالم ما يحدث في غزة، وما يحدث من إبادة جماعية لكل المجالات؛ ليس الصحفي فقط، so that the world does not lose sight of what is happening in Gaza and of the genocide taking place across every field, not just journalism. إنما الطبيب، والإسعاف، والدفاع المدني، وعامل الإغاثة. Doctors, paramedics, civil defense workers, aid workers, everyone. الجميع مستهدف في غزة. Everyone is targeted in Gaza. نتمنى أن يكون لهم دائما أملا في أن تنتهي هذه الحرب. We pray that they can continue holding on to the hope that this war will end. وأن يجسّد هؤلاء الشهداء مكانة لنا وللأجيال القادمة. May the martyrs always hold an important place for us and for future generations.
